[USA] Tin an international educatee on the F1 visa status (who has now graduated) exist summoned for jury duty?

I'm an international student who graduated in May, 2018. I'm going to be working in the US, and so I'm just awaiting my OPT. Yesterday, I received a mail summoning me for jury duty. I'grand unsure if this is an fault. How can someone that'southward not actually legally affiliated to the Usa brand decisions about American Citizens? Please aid!

You can only serve on a jury in the US if you lot are a U.s.a. denizen.

If you lot are not a US citizen then you should call the courthouse and permit them know of the error. If you are unable to right the error by the time your presence is requested, then you should bear witness upward at the expected time and notify the judge (or a representative of the courthouse) of the error.

No it's a mistake, just U.s.a. citizens can qualify for jury duty.
